The Voices!

Joe Coleman is a consummate entertainment professional, renown as a “double, triple threat.” He is an accomplished singer, actor and performer. Joe’s “double, triple threat” comes from his acclaim as a theatrical composer, songwriter, and astute businessman. Joe was a member of “The Platters” for 23 years.

Joe Blunt began his professional singing career, at the age of 18, when he signed his first recording contract with DC’s Cap City Records as a member of R&B vocal group, “The Chancelors”, Blunt was then a part of a popular local group called the “Instant Groove” and later launched yet another group, “True Reflection.” True Reflection toured with many of the popular acts of that time – Al Green, The Ojays, The Isley Brothers, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes and The Dramatics to name a few, and also performed on the popular TV show, “Soul Train.” The group, however, may be best remembered as the group that eventually produced one member of The Temptations, one member of The Platters, and in 1975, Joe Blunt became a member of the legendary Drifters.

Theo Peoples’ voice has been critical to the legacy of not just one but two of Motown’s iconic groups – the ‘Temptations‘ AND ‘The Four Tops‘! With classics like “Baby, I Need Your Loving”, “Reach Out (I’ll Be There)” and “Ain’t No Woman (Like The One I Got) by the Four Tops to name a few, he has earned the singular honor of being the only man to be a member of both legendary groups, and his bona fide voice has been a ‘well received’ contribution in both cases!
