Hikers gathered on a beautiful, clear Sunday last month to commemorate the
Pacific Mesothelioma Center’s 11th Annual Walk/Hike for Mesothelioma. In-person participants were greeted
by ample sunshine and expansive city and mountain views atop Kenneth Hahn
Park. Afterwards hikers congregated on picnic benches and were rewarded
with delicious plant-based lunches, an auction, and raffle offering up
some great prizes.
While nearly 200 virtual participants attended from their hometowns, once
again bringing mesothelioma communities from all over the globe.
Our amazing clients from Team Chuck Jarvis, Sr., state, "For the past
11 years Team Chuck Jarvis have participated in the mesothelioma walk
and have raised over $150,000 for mesothelioma research. This year we
had 29 walkers from the West Coast to the Midwest to the East Coast and
several walked virtually. We are always happy to raise funds for PMC and
everyone has fun." -- Sonia Jarvis-Bayek, Team Chuck Jarvis Sr.
Worthington & Caron was the top fundraising team this year. We are
grateful for the opportunity to remember the friends and family we have
